2017-18 Dress and Grooming Guidelines
Earbuds in the hallways
Morton High School administrators and teachers have given students a lot of freedom with their electronic devices. Students are permitted to use their devices in the hallway and earbuds are permitted in the cafeteria. Earbuds are not permitted in the hallways, however, due to safety concerns. In order for this to continue, it is imperative that students do not wear earbuds in the hallway. Any student wearing earbuds in the hallway will be issued a detention and may have them confiscated if they continue to wear them.

Uniform reminders
As the weather changes outside, the temperature in the building and the classrooms changes, as well. We want students to be comfortable but they must still arrive to school in uniform. Student shirts must be solid white, solid blue, or Morton spirit wear. Pants must be khaki or navy. Friday is jeans day but students may not wear jeans that are ripped/torn/distressed. Tops must still follow uniform expectations on Friday.
