*Purdue University Cyber-security Camp: The Department of Computer & Information Technology at Purdue University was awarded a GenCyber grant, funded by the NSA and NSF, to host a free, residential cybersecurity camp for 40 girls, incoming 9th-12th grade.

Breaking the Myths of Nursing, Dentistry, and Medicine day camp
June 14-June 16, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus.This program will provide underrepresented students in grades 9-12 with an intellectual and unique hands-on experience to learn about the field of nursing, dentistry, medicine and college.  Participants will spend time in our state of the arts simulation center or spend time chair-side with real patients in the IUSD clinic. Students will gain a better understanding of how to prepare for college, which will help them become a stronger applicant. The $40 fee will cover lunch, snacks, and materials for all three days. All students will also receive a swag bag, t-shirt, and a stethoscope.
